About the Opportunity:
HR GO PLC is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer to join their dynamic team in Bridgwater, Somerset. This role involves generating CNC programs to manufacture components according to design specifications.
About Us:
Our client specialises in high-end engineering sectors and offers a competitive salary with opportunities for advancement (£30k PLUS DOE). The company provides a range of benefits, including 23 days holiday + 8 bank holidays (plus 3 additional days for Christmas), company pension scheme, social events, and long service awards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate CNC programs to manufacture components according to design specifications.
- Maintain awareness of daily work schedules, coordinating with programming and production managers.
- Ensure all department documents are processed using standard programming instructions/procedures.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, AutoDesk, PowerMill, PowerShape, and Tebis software packages.
- Excellent knowledge of CNC machining techniques and processes.
- Experience with Thermoforming, Vacuum Forming, or Pressure Forming tooling is advantageous but not essential (training provided).
Working Hours:
Monday to Thursday: 8am - 4:30pm
Friday: 8am - 3:30pm
Flexibility required during high demand periods, with possible overtime.
