Job Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Musical Therapist to join our team at the Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated professional to work with adults with Learning Disabilities in Sheffield.

As a key member of our therapy team, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, and implementing music psychotherapy sessions that cater to the unique needs of our clients. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality care that promotes physical and emotional well-being.

**Responsibilities:**
* Assess and plan music psychotherapy sessions for adults with Learning Disabilities
* Implement music-based interventions to address behavioral, mental health, and emotional challenges
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care plans
* Supervise music therapy students on placement
* Participate in service development and evaluation activities
* Liaise with staff from other disciplines to promote awareness of music therapy services
* Act as a professional advisor for arts psychotherapy services within the trust
* Contribute to the maintenance and development of arts therapies across the trust
* Work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and travel independently between bases

Requirements:
* Postgraduate diploma/M.A in Arts Psychotherapy (HPC registration required)
* Experience working with adults with Learning Disabilities and their families/carers
* Ability to communicate effectively with clients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
* Strong IT skills for therapeutic use and communication
* Commitment to ongoing professional development

**Salary Range:** £37,338 - £44,962 per annum pro rata, depending on experience.
