Job Description

As a collections and delivery driver for DPD Group UK, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring timely delivery of parcels. Your day will start at the depot, where you will load your van with parcels and receive a delivery schedule for the day.

With a 3.5 tonne van at your disposal, you will make multi-drop collections and deliveries around the area, interacting with customers and providing a positive experience. Your shift will be a mix of driving, loading, and unloading parcels, requiring you to be flexible and able to work to deadlines.

Key Responsibilities
  • Load and unload parcels from the van
  • Deliver parcels to customers in a timely and efficient manner
  • Interact with customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Work to deadlines and be flexible with your schedule
  • Assist with loading parcels at the depot
Requirements
  • Held a full UK driving licence and had regular driving experience for 12 months or more
  • Ability to lift, load, and carry parcels
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
