About the Role

As a Senior Health and Safety Consultant, you will be responsible for championing a holistic approach to physical and psychological health and safety on our Hinkley Point C project. This will involve addressing unique risk factors in construction, providing local advice and support to managers and staff to ensure they meet high safety standards, and acting as a point of contact for enforcement bodies.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure discovery feedback is regularly gathered from staff and communicated to directors and management to inform effective inclusion and wellbeing strategies.
  • Promote innovation, research, and adoption of cutting-edge products, technologies, methods, and services to support the delivery of inclusion and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Develop and implement project-specific inclusion and wellbeing strategies aligned with the Business Stream Policy Deployment H&S Strategy.
  • Cascade business and industry communications to promote learning and progress within projects.
  • Lead projects in setting inclusion and wellbeing maturity goals, inspire progress, and report performance as required.
Requirements
  • Qualification at level 6 (minimum)
  • Technical knowledge in occupational health risk management and wellbeing
  • Technical knowledge in safety risk management
