Backend Developer Position

We are looking for a skilled Senior Node.js Developer to join our team and contribute to the development of our platform and services.

As a key member of our team, you will play an important role in building solid backend architectures that integrate easily with other systems and technologies. You will also be responsible for implementing and maintaining new backend modules for internal and client-facing apps and websites.

The ideal candidate will have at least 10+ years of experience in backend development, with expertise in Node.js, RESTful APIs, and GIT. You should also be able to write clean, scalable/modular code and have good communication skills. Fluency in English is a plus.

Bonus experience in Firebase or other serverless services is a plus.

The salary range for this position is $8,000 - $11,000 net salary per year.

  • Build solid backend architectures that integrate easily with other systems and technologies
  • Implement and maintain new backend modules for internal and client-facing apps and websites
  • Apply the latest backend technologies with a focus on serverless development
  • Improve backend services performance
  • Perform code reviews
  • Clearly and concisely communicate highly technical challenges and solutions with both technical and non-technical peers
  • Collaborate with frontend developers and the Management team

Requirements:

  • At least 10+ years of experience in backend development
  • Experienced in Node.js
  • Experience building RESTful APIs
  • Willingness to learn Firebase
  • Working experience with GIT
  • Good communication skills; fluent English is a plus
  • Ability to write clean, scalable/modular code
  • Organized and with great time management skills
  • Attention to detail and a strong ability to QA one's own work
