Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as a Learning Assistant in Motor Vehicle at West Herts College.

About the Role: As a Learning Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our students with theory and practical activities in Motor Vehicle. You will be responsible for supervising and coaching students, assisting tutors, and maintaining equipment and resources.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support students with practical work and impart industry experience to develop their employability skills.
  • Assist with the setup and preparation of classrooms, workshops, assessment areas, and resources.
  • Maintain equipment and stock to meet the needs of students and industry requirements.

Requirements: To be successful in this role, you will need current industry knowledge in Motor Vehicle and ideally hold qualifications at level 3. You will also need to be a strong communicator, have a real flair for passing on your knowledge, and be able to act as a role model.
