Year 3 Education Specialist

Job Overview: We are an ambitious and stimulating 'Good' Ofsted-rated mainstream Primary School in Canterbury seeking a qualified and dedicated Elementary Teacher to cover a maternity leave.
Salary: $130-$220 per hour.
The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching Year 3 students and building upon the learning and child development established in KS1. This is a full-time opportunity starting in January on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities:
- Teach Year 3 students and plan engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum and the school's curriculum policy.
- Manage behaviour effectively to ensure a good and safe learning environment following the school's behaviour policy.
- Communicate effectively with parents and other professionals about pupils' achievements and well-being.
Requirements:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Child DBS check on the Update Service or willing to pay and apply for a new one.
- Read the DfE 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' document.
