Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Class 1 HGV driver to join our team at Gi Group Main Account. As a Class 1 HGV driver, you will be responsible for transporting mail items and parcels throughout the UK, following a planned route from our client's site in Norwich to customers and other depots.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive a Class 1 vehicle, following a planned route, to transport mail items and parcels throughout the UK
  • Maintain high integrity standards and demonstrate a friendly customer service
  • Meet the requirements and skills outlined below

Requirements and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years driving experience and MUST have driven Class 1 for at least 6 months in the last 2 years
  • You MUST be in possession of a HGV Class 1 (C+E) license, Driver CPC & DIGI Cards
  • Motoring convictions starting with the code SP for speeding offences are acceptable, up to a max. of 6 points. NB: no other endorsements / convictions are acceptable.
  • Minimum of 2 years checkable work history
  • Strong work ethic, reliable, flexible, Upbeat, self-motivated and resilient
