As a Lead Educator for vulnerable pupils, you will be responsible for leading our team in delivering exceptional education and care to pupils with complex needs. Based at New Barn School in Newbury, Berkshire, this role offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and passionate educator to join our team as a Lead Educator. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health complexities and will possess excellent leadership skills to guide and motivate our team members.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A deep understanding of child development and behaviour
  • Experience in leading teams and developing staff
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A passion for innovative teaching practices and curriculum design
Key Responsibilities

As a Lead Educator, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading the educational programme for vulnerable pupils
  • Developing and implementing effective behaviour management strategies
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless support for pupils
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to staff to enhance their practice
