We have an exciting opportunity for a Neighbourhood Team Leader to join our in-house housing service at Mid Devon District Council, working across the district based from our Head Office in Tiverton.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead a team that delivers our tenancy sustainment/rent arrears and allocations service and supports the wider delivery of our core housing services
- Achieve high levels of tenant satisfaction and tenancy sustainment
- Contribute to the achievement of our housing targets and objectives across all service standards and performance indicators
- Play a key part in taking forward our services and delivering a community focused housing service that puts the tenants at heart of what we do
About You:
- Excellent communication and mediation skills are essential
- An ability to solve problems is also important
- You must be able to organise your own workload
- You need experience in housing management or a customer focussed service
- You must have an understanding of landlord and tenant obligations
- You will have a clear customer focus and a flexible approach
- You will have good people skills with a passion for making a difference
