Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Career Navigator to join our team at Ingeus. As a Career Navigator, you will play a vital role in supporting participants in finding sustainable employment. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a caseload of participants and understand their individual needs to help plan the support they require to get back to work.

The Restart Scheme is a specially designed program that provides intensive and tailored support to participants who have been out of work for 9 plus months. As a Career Navigator, you will work collaboratively with participants to identify and overcome any potential barriers preventing them from returning to work.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Building effective relationships with participants and working collaboratively to identify and overcome barriers to employment.
  2. Creating comprehensive action plans with participants to identify career opportunities and address employment-related barriers.
  3. Providing job search support, guiding participants to register on relevant job boards, and ensuring their digital profiles are up-to-date and visible to employers.
  4. Ensuring participants have an up-to-date and professional CV, supporting statement, and covering letter, tailored appropriately for each application.

Requirements:

  1. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  2. Experience working in a performance-driven environment.
  3. Desire to help people and make a positive impact.
