**Role Overview**

Burmeister & Wain Scandinavian Contractor A/S (BWSC) is seeking an experienced Fuel Handling Technician to join our dynamic engineering firm. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in the safe and efficient operation of our Biomass CHP Plant in Widnes.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Carry out routine checks on lifting equipment and vehicles, ensuring compliance with LOLER regulations
  • Manage fuel handling routines, including fuel quality checks and monthly stock takes
  • Provide operational support to maintenance teams to maximize plant performance and safety
  • Assist in the creation and development of site operations procedures
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including health and safety protocols

**Requirements**

  • Knowledge and experience of safe operation of large mobile plant
  • Flexible and proactive attitude
  • Basic IT skills for data entry and processing

**Benefits**

  • Starting salary of £28,000 per year, rising to £30,000 after successful completion of probationary period

**Working Arrangements**
