As an Electro-Mechanical Engineer, you will provide technical guidance and direction to technical team members throughout all phases of the product development process. You will ensure that all functional and non-functional performance requirements are met and that design solutions are robust and cost-effective.
Key Responsibilities:
- Participate in and review mechanical design solutions to ensure delivered systems meet customers' needs and expectations
- Provide technical guidance and direction to technical team members throughout all phases of the product development process
- Ensure that all functional and non-functional performance requirements are met and that design solutions are robust and cost-effective
Requirements:
- 10+ Years of Experience in Electro-Mechanical Engineering
- Strong Knowledge of CAD and Other Related Software-Aided Design Tools
- Experience with 2D and 3D Optical and Laser-Based Vision Systems
- Experience with Robots and Robot Control Systems (FANUC & KUKA Preferable)
- Previous Experience Delivering Statistical Analysis of Experimental, Test, and Quality Data
- Proven Ability to Conceive and Develop Innovative Solutions
- A Degree in Electro-Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in the Automotive or Aerospace Sectors
- Prior Experience with Electro-Mechanical Power, Torque & Efficiency Calculations
- Experience Managing Pneumatic Actuation and Controls
- A Track Record of New Product Introduction (NPI) Methods and Practices
- Bills of Material Structure & Creation
