Key Responsibilities:

As a Shuttering Carpenter at MCG Construction, you will be responsible for safely installing shuttering formwork and proprietary systems. You will adhere to high safety and quality standards, working collaboratively as part of a team to deliver exceptional results.

Key Skills:

Proficiency with proprietary formwork systems (columns, walls, beams, etc.) is essential for this role. You will also need to demonstrate competence in using hand and power tools, as well as the ability to lift heavy objects and perform routine manual labor. Additionally, you must have a high tolerance for working to precise line and level specifications and be able to work effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications:

A CSCS Skilled Worker Card (BLUE) is required for this role, and a Level 3 qualification in Formwork is desirable. Training in Working at Heights, Abrasive Wheels, and interpretation of drawings is also essential. This role presents an opportunity to contribute significantly to the Nuclear New Build Programme, aimed at setting a benchmark for future projects in the UK.
