Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and passionate Part Time Early Years Educator to join our team at Bright Horizons Whetstone Day Nursery and Preschool. As an Early Years Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

About the Role:

This part-time position involves working as a lunch cover practitioner, supporting our experienced staff team to deliver engaging activities and promote child development towards key milestones. You will also be responsible for developing and maintaining strong parent/carer partnerships and promoting child welfare, protection, health, and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and implement engaging activities tailored to each child's needs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents and carers
  • Promote and ensure child welfare, protection, health, and safety
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to maintain a positive and safe environment

Requirements:

  • Full and relevant Level 2/3 or above Early Years qualification (essential)
  • Previous experience working with children (ideally as a Nursery Nurse, Nursery Practitioner, Early Years Educator, or similar)
  • Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
  • Ability to build trust and strong working relationships with both colleagues and parents
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and legislative requirements for working with children
