Job Title: Head Go-Kart Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Go-Kart Mechanic to join our team at Daytona Sandown Park. As the Head of our Engineering department, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the department, managing a small team, and ensuring that our kart fleet is maintained to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out all aspects of kart maintenance and repair
  • Manage a small team of engineers and technicians
  • Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules and procedures
  • Collaborate with suppliers and colleagues to ensure effective communication
  • Monitor and control stock and budget
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in mechanical engineering, preferably in the corporate or race kart sector
  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings and weekends
