About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Computer Networking Intern to join our team at Digital Cloak, LLC. As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience and develop essential skills necessary to succeed in the field of cybersecurity. You will work closely with our experienced team members to install and configure operating systems, learn and implement security-related practices, and improve your professional writing skills.
Responsibilities:
- Work full-time onsite at Digital Cloak as a seasonal hire within a small technical team
- Install and configure operating systems such as Linux, macOS, and Windows
- Learn and implement security-related practices
- Improve professional writing skills through activities such as writing and reviewing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process documents, business plans, and other technical documents
- Utilize the Microsoft Office suite for related tasks
- Gain experience in areas such as technical support, data management, quality assurance, policy development, website design, software development, offensive cyber operations, system administration, vulnerability testing, risk analysis, SIEM, technical documentation, and more
Requirements:
- Positive attitude and a willingness to learn a variety of skills and tools
- Strong work habits in both team and individual tasks
- Proficiency in Office 365
- Ability to multitask and be flexible
- Ability to self-learn tools, programming languages, concepts, and/or other task-related skills
- Thorough understanding of internet research
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to stay on task and complete tasks by a given deadline
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, analytical, and critical thinking skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision
- Desire to learn more and expand current knowledge base
- Strong technical knowledge and troubleshooting skills
- Strong motivation and mission orientation
Estimated Salary Range: $50,000 - $60,000 per year
