A highly dedicated and passionate SENDCo is required to join our senior leadership team at Phoenix Learning & Care Group.
About the Role:This key member of our school community will be instrumental in ensuring every child receives the support they need to thrive academically and personally.
Main Responsibilities:- Foster strong relationships with pupils, parents, teachers, and external professionals through effective communication.
- Provide guidance, coaching, and resources to teachers to enhance their classroom strategies and curriculum planning.
- Offer training, advice, and updates to parents to empower them to support their children's educational and emotional development.
- Lead the development, implementation, and review of EHCPs to ensure pupils meet their educational goals.
- Promote the school's ethos by contributing to its development plan and implementing inclusive teaching strategies.
- You have a degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a solid understanding of the national curriculum (KS1-4), safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted.
- You have prior experience in SEND settings and a willingness to pursue further qualifications in SEND.
- You possess exceptional verbal and written communication skills to engage with stakeholders.

- Holidays: 39.2 weeks per year, with paid additional leave.
