Job Description

Job Title: Project Quality Assurance Manager

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Project Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at Matchtech. As a key member of our Quality Team, you will play a critical role in supporting project delivery across various infrastructure projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support Project Management Gate Reviews: Utilize project management processes and tools to ensure project delivery and compliance with quality standards.
  • Create Safety Authorisation Reports: Develop technical reports to ensure safety during commissioning and minimize risks.
  • Lead Investigations Using 8D Problem Solving: Conduct thorough investigations, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions to ensure safety, customer satisfaction, and cost efficiency.
  • Support Customer Satisfaction Surveys and Improvement Plans: Focus on achieving high customer satisfaction by analyzing feedback and implementing process improvements.
  • Contribute to APSYS Improvement Plans: Collaborate with the team to deploy and enhance processes, ensuring operational excellence and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Proven Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in managing quality, audits, and problem-solving tools, with a track record in supporting project delivery and project management teams.
  • Qualifications: Desirable: Membership in the Chartered Quality Institute (CQI) with Chartered Quality Professional status, BTEC HNC/HND in Engineering/Quality Management, or IRCA certified lead auditor.
  • Competencies & Skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office Tools, databases, and administrative tasks; knowledgeable in Rail Industry practices or other safety-critical industries; strong communication skills, understanding of Quality standards (ISO9001, IRIS, CMMI, ECM, etc.), and quality tools.
