Job Title: Children and Families Social Worker in Bristol

We are seeking an experienced Social Worker to join our Children and Families team in Bristol. As a Social Worker, you will be responsible for undertaking assessments under S17 & S47 and working with children in need, with children on a CP plan, and with families in pre-proceedings or in the court system.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake assessments under S17 & S47
  • Work with children in need, with children on a CP plan, and with families in pre-proceedings or in the court system
  • Develop and implement plans to support children and families
  • Work collaboratively with other professionals to achieve the best outcomes for children and families
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 6 months experience of working in the UK as a registered social worker
  • A relevant Social Work Qualification
  • Registration with Social Work England
  • Enhanced DBS, registered on the update service or be happy to apply for a DBS
  • 3 Years of referencing - performance references are required at the point of submission to Bristol City Council
  • Driving license with access to a car
