Join Our Team as an Audit Manager - Financial Services

BDO UK is a leading accountancy and business advisory firm that provides expert advice and solutions to entrepreneurial organisations. Our Financial Services Audit team is a key part of our business, working with companies that are Britain's economic engine.

We're looking for an experienced Audit Manager to join our team, someone who can provide quality assurance to our clients and help ensure the stability and authenticity of the financial markets. As an Audit Manager, you'll be responsible for managing a portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams, as well as developing and mentoring staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop staff, including coordinating projects, mentoring, counselling, and appraising.
  • Proven experience in managing a wide portfolio of concurrent projects and project teams in a project management framework.
  • Excellent working knowledge of UK and International GAAS, IFRS, UK GAAP, and Financial Reporting requirements.
  • Knowledge of the CASS rules and experience of client money and assets audits, reporting to the FCA.
