Estimated Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment. Strong analytical and numeracy skills are essential for this role, as well as excellent communication and project management abilities.

About the Role

As a Senior Civils Quantity Surveyor, you will be responsible for:

  • Managing commercial aspects of projects, including budgeting, forecasting, and risk assessment
  • Developing and implementing effective cost control measures to ensure projects are delivered within budget
  • Liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery
  • Preparing and presenting detailed financial reports and analysis to senior management
  • Maintaining accurate records and files related to projects, including contracts, invoices, and correspondence
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field (e.g., Civil Engineering)
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in quantity surveying, preferably in a civil engineering context
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills, with experience using software such as Excel and AutoCAD
  • Strong communication and project management skills, with ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
