Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Site Manager to join our construction team at Barratt Developments PLC. As a Site Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction process, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and coordinate the construction process, including planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Monitor and control costs, including materials, labor, and equipment.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of construction professionals, including tradespeople and contractors.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as sales and marketing, to ensure smooth project delivery.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to ensure quality and safety standards are met.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve construction efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage and resolve conflicts or issues that may arise during the construction process.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience as a Site Manager or Construction Project Manager in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and industry standards.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and construction management software.
