Job Title: Test and Service Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Test and Service Engineer to join our team at Ultra Precision Control Systems. As a Test and Service Engineer, you will be responsible for testing, fault-finding, and repairing a range of HIPPAG products to meet customer commitments in terms of quality and timescales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough testing and fault-finding of service units to component level using Test Specifications and diagrams.
  • Repair and assemble products to IPC standards, ensuring high-quality results.
  • Produce detailed investigation reports and Statements of Work.
  • Provide technical assistance to internal and external customers, ensuring effective communication and support.
  • Ensure repair products and turnaround time meet customer expectations, providing regular updates as needed.
  • Perform inspections on all activities as required, maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Recommend improvements to processes and procedures, ensuring continuous improvement.
  • Order and check/reject components, maintaining accurate documentation.

Requirements:

  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment across a range of products.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Good communication skills, with the ability to give guidance and instruction when necessary.
  • Computer literacy and a 'can-do' attitude, with experience managing daily key activities to achieve timescales and quality.
  • Knowledge of Pneumatics and Mechanical build and test.
