Education Support Professional Job Description

Job Title: Education Support Professional

Location: Eastleigh

Salary Range: £12.82 - £14.72 per hour (Depending on experience)

Start: ASAP

Contract: Day-to-day/Long-term, Part-time/Full-time

GSL Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Education Support Professional to join a forward-thinking school in Eastleigh. As an Education Support Professional, you will provide vital support to both teachers and students, helping to create a positive and engaging classroom atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with teachers to develop engaging and interactive lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one and small group support to enhance student confidence and understanding.
  • Promote positive behaviour and foster a welcoming classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor student progress and offer feedback to teachers to aid in their development.
  • Supervise students during activities, school trips, and break times.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as an Education Support Professional is desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to adapt to the needs of individual students.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Passion for working with children with special educational needs.
