Excell Supply is recruiting for passionate teaching assistants to work in primary and/or secondary schools in and around Denbighshire on a supply basis, with the potential opportunity for short and long term roles as well as day to day supply.

Role Overview:

As a teaching assistant, you will work closely with teachers to support student learning and classroom management. Your role may involve assisting with providing one-on-one support to students with additional needs, and helping create a nurturing, engaging, and stimulating learning environment for children of all ages and abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist teachers in preparing classroom materials and resources.
  • Support individual students or groups of students in their learning.
  • Help maintain a positive and productive classroom atmosphere.
  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.

Person Specification:

Essential:

  • A passion for education and a desire to make a difference in students lives.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Ability to work individually and taking initiative as well as collaboratively as part of a team.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or working with children is desirable but not essential.
