We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Male Support Worker to join our team at the National Autistic Society. In this rewarding role, you will work closely with autistic adults and their families, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in supporting vulnerable individuals, with a passion for working with autistic people. You will be responsible for helping individuals achieve independence, supporting and transporting them to integrate into their community, and developing their home-making skills and personal chores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Providing support and guidance to autistic adults and their families
  • Helping individuals achieve independence and personal goals
  • Supporting and transporting individuals to integrate into their community
  • Developing individuals' home-making skills and personal chores

Requirements:

  • Strong background in supporting vulnerable individuals
  • Passion for working with autistic people
  • Resilient, supportive, and sensitive towards the needs of autistic people
  • Possession of a driving license (minimum one year)
  • Enhanced DBS Check (preferable but not essential)
