HGV Maintenance Specialist

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced HGV Mechanic to join our client's team and contribute to the success of their national fleet of trucks. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in conducting routine maintenance and inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and performance standards.
Responsibilities:
- Perform routine maintenance checks to guarantee vehicles meet regulatory requirements.
- Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues to minimize downtime.
- Ensure all vehicles are serviced and maintained according to manufacturer recommendations.
- Work closely with the maintenance team to address any emerging issues promptly.
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and notify management of significant faults or defects.
Salary: £42,000 - £46,000 per annum
Requirements:- Relevant qualifications and experience as a mechanic, preferably with a focus on heavy-duty vehicles or buses.
