This consultancy has built a strong reputation for excellence in project delivery and client service. As a Senior Landscape Architect, you will be involved in every stage of landscape design, from inception to completion, working on diverse projects that include renewable energy, commercial developments, and leisure spaces.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop comprehensive landscape design and management strategies.
- Prepare detailed plans, illustrative materials, and graphic presentations.
- Liaise directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure accurate interpretation of their instructions.
- Conduct site surveys and analysis work to inform design decisions.
- Execute landscape design tasks as directed by clients and senior staff.
- Present design concepts to clients, planning officers, and other stakeholders.
- Undertake Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA) and Zone of Theoretical Visibility (ZTV) analysis, and prepare relevant reports for Environmental Statements.
- Utilize GIS software effectively, with experience in ArchGIS being ideal.
- Compile reports and supplementary information to support design work.
Requirements:
- Degree in Landscape Architecture or a related field.
- Chartered status and CMLI membership are preferred but not essential.
- Experience in working on LVIA projects is essential.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite is required.
- Familiarity with GIS software, ideally ArchGIS, is advantageous.
- Full UK driver's license and access to personal transportation are necessary.
