Business Development Representative

VANRATH have exclusively partnered with a leading wholesale company to recruit an Account Manager (Field based) position.
The role is located in Coleraine, and the successful candidate will operate from an office with regular fieldwork. A defined territory will be assigned to this role, allowing for effective account management. The working hours are Monday to Friday, with flexible options between 7:30 am - 4:30 pm, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, or 8:30 am - 5:30 pm.
The salary for this position is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, plus a comprehensive benefits package, company car, and bonus opportunities. Candidates with extensive experience may be considered for higher salaries.
Responsibilities:- Manage key accounts on the field, nurturing relationships and driving growth.
- Update account status and transaction details to ensure accurate records.
- Supervise account representatives to maintain a healthy sales pipeline and resolve any potential issues.
- Maximise account spend and generate new business opportunities through customer networking.
To succeed in this role, you should have:
- A minimum of 1-2 years' experience as an Account Manager or Customer Success professional, with a proven track record of upselling and KPI target delivery.
- Field sales experience and technical sales background, preferably in electrical, engineering, or construction sectors.
- A valid UK driving license.
