About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber to join our team at Practice Plus Group. As a Senior Substance Misuse Non-Medical Prescriber, you will play a key role in providing high-quality healthcare services to our patients in a secure environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients with substance misuse issues
  • Deliver a range of treatment options, including clinical and psychosocial interventions, to support patients in their recovery journey
  • Monitor patients' responses to medication and potential side effects, and make adjustments as needed
  • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to provide comprehensive care to patients
Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with a background in Mental Health or Adult Nursing
  • Current professional qualification (NMC)
  • Prescribing qualification in Substance Misuse
  • RCGP 1 in Substance Misuse or willingness to undertake
  • Experience working with patients with substance misuse issues
  • Sound clinical knowledge of substance misuse
