Technical Accounting Assistant Manager Opportunity

Austin Rose Associates is seeking a highly skilled Technical Accounting Assistant Manager to join our team.

This role offers a unique blend of technical expertise and leadership responsibilities, making it an ideal fit for audit professionals looking to transition into a support role.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide technical guidance and support to staff on UK GAAP, IFRS, and ISA requirements
  • Develop and deliver in-house training programs to enhance staff knowledge and skills
  • Collaborate with audit service line heads to ensure a consistent approach across the firm
  • Investigate and implement data analytics software to improve efficiency
  • Assist with the implementation of new accounting and audit software
  • Provide guidance on FRS 102 implementation to staff and clients
  • Support the development of a firm-wide approach to changes in accounting standards

Requirements:

  • ACA or ACCA qualification
  • External audit experience
  • Experience of preparing accounts under UK GAAP
  • Ability to deal with complex issues and reach clear conclusions
  • Knowledge of software systems CaseWare AccountsAdvance and AuditAdvance
