Job Title: Telecare Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Telecare Engineer to join our team at Aberdeen City Council. As a Telecare Engineer, you will play a vital role in providing technology solutions, installation, and review of users to meet the needs of our vulnerable or elderly clients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess users for equipment within their home environment and install/maintain bespoke solutions.
• Hold awareness sessions on the equipment with various staff groups.
• Contribute to the provision and development of the Telecare service, ensuring a high standard of person-centred care and support for service users.
• Work in accordance with Adult and Public Protection principles and procedures.
• Adhere to company policy and procedures, health and safety policies, and legislation.
• Undertake equipment-specific training, lifting and handling training, and customer service training.
• Travel within Aberdeen City and provide an on-call service.

Requirements:

• Full UK driving licence.
• Extensive knowledge in the Electrical or Telecare field.
• Ability to move and handle items of equipment.
