Job Role

As a Personal Care Assistant Manager at Shonacareltd, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality personal care services to clients within their own homes. Your duties will include administering medications, supporting clients in accessing community resources, and prioritizing social support to clients at any time of day.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Care: Meet the physical, emotional, cultural, and social needs of clients using a person-centered approach.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Comply with all regulatory and statutory obligations, company policies, procedures, and guidelines.
  • Relationship Building: Foster and maintain strong professional relationships with clients, their families and friends, and external agencies.
Requirements
  • Qualification: Hold a relevant qualification such as SVQ2, HNC in Health and Social Care, or equivalent.
  • Driving License: Possess a valid driving license and access to a vehicle is required.
  • Right to Work: Provide proof of right to work in the UK.
  • PVG Registration: Satisfy requirements for Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) application and register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within six months of commencement.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum, depending on experience.
