Job Title: Mechanical Engineer - Critical Facilities

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our team at PRS, a leading International Data Hosting Company. As a Mechanical Engineer - Critical Facilities, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data centre's mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform planned and reactive maintenance on power generators, water and cooling systems, chillers, condensers, AC systems, CRAC units, lighting, HVAC, pumps, motors, and BMS operation.
  • Work closely with the operations team to ensure the data centre's mechanical systems are running efficiently and effectively.
  • Collaborate with other engineers to resolve complex mechanical issues and ensure the data centre's systems are running within acceptable parameters.
  • Develop and implement maintenance schedules to ensure the data centre's mechanical systems are properly maintained.
Requirements:
  • Full Mechanical Engineering City & Guilds qualifications or equivalent.
  • Proven track record of working in data centre or banking environments.
  • Hands-on experience of covering planned and reactive maintenance to power generators, water and cooling systems, chillers, condensers, AC systems, CRAC units, lighting, HVAC, pumps, motors, and BMS operation.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
