About the Role

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Service
    • Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied.
    • Respond to customer queries and resolve any issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Sales and Merchandising
    • Operate the till and accurately handle cash, credit/debit card, and gift card transactions.
    • Carry out stock replenishment, ensuring that all areas of the store remain tidy and well-stocked.
    • Contribute to visual merchandising, ensuring that the store is well-presented and inspiring to our customers.
  • Product Knowledge
    • Demonstrate a strong knowledge of our products and services, and be able to answer customer queries confidently.
    • Be able to recommend products to customers based on their needs and preferences.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about craft and customer service. You will have:

Retail Experience
  • Previous experience in a retail environment, preferably in a craft or hobby-related store.
Excellent Communication Skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues and customers.
Flexibility
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays.
