Job Title: Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Join our team at TalentHawk as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer and play a key role in designing, implementing, and securing cloud-based solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform.

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Cloud Security Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing Azure cloud infrastructure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, while implementing and maintaining virtual networks, storage accounts, and Azure security resources.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, deploy, and manage Azure cloud infrastructure across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS.
  • Implement and maintain virtual networks, storage accounts, and Azure security resources.
  • Conduct regular security assessments, vulnerability scans, and monitor/respond to security incidents using tools such as Azure Sentinel and other security technologies.
  • Perform root cause analysis for security incidents, implement corrective actions, and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
  • Collaborate with development, operations, and IT teams to integrate security practices into the DevOps lifecycle.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to minimize security risks.
  • Provide expert advice on cloud security best practices to internal teams.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
  • Relevant certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, Azure Security Engineer Associate, CISSP, CSSP, or CEH.
  • Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Azure services and security features, including a deep understanding of Azure networking, compute, storage, and databases.
  • Security Tools: Hands-on experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., PowerShell, Azure CLI) and working with Azure DevOps.
  • Experience with containerization, knowledge of Azure Data Lake, Azure IoT Hub, and API tooling.
