Architectural Revit Technologist

About the Role

We are seeking an Architectural Technician to join our Technical team in our Scotland East Division. As an Architectural Technician, you will be responsible for supporting Senior Architectural Technicians and the wider business in the execution of construction projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain divisional details and specifications to ensure high-quality construction projects.
• Produce working pack drawings to facilitate efficient project delivery.
• Work with external consultants and suppliers to ensure complete design solutions are delivered in line with company standards.
• Support the upkeep of our Drawing Management system to maintain accurate and up-to-date records.
• Support site teams and colleagues with information requests, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
• Attend site-based meetings and audits as required, to ensure effective project delivery.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of CDM and CPD responsibilities specific to the role, to ensure compliance and best practice.
• Support and mentor Trainee and Graduate Technicians to develop their skills and knowledge.

Requirements

• Experience of working with Autodesk Revit and AutoCAD is desirable, as well as experience working within the housebuilding industry in a technical/architectural function.
• Knowledge of building regulations and current NHBC standards is essential for this role.
