Multilingual Education Support Assistant

We are seeking a skilled and multilingual individual to join our team as a Casual Multilingual Education Assistant. As a key member of our Ethnic Minority Achievement Service, you will play a vital role in supporting newly arrived children to settle into school and begin to learn English.
Key Responsibilities- Support children in nurseries, primary schools, and secondary schools across Coventry and the surrounding area.
- Work with teachers and other education professionals to provide language support and facilitate communication.
- Develop and maintain relationships with schools and other education providers to ensure effective delivery of services.
- Travel to schools and other education providers across the city to provide support and services.
- Fluency and literacy in one or more of the following languages: Bengali, Czech, Igbo, Nepali, Pashto, Slovak, Sorani Kurdish.
- Good command of written and spoken English.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including mornings and afternoons, and be available for at least 4 days per week.
