Regional Manager Job Description

De Montfort University Leicester is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Manager to join our international recruitment team.

Role Overview

The successful candidate will play a key role in expanding De Montfort University Leicester's presence in the Sub-Saharan Africa region by developing and executing a regional recruitment strategy for the DMU Leicester campus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement a regional recruitment strategy to increase the number of international students from the region.
  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to meet ambitious recruitment targets.
  • Build effective relationships with stakeholders within the region and support the wider internationalisation of DMU Leicester.
  • Manage a small team based overseas and in Leicester.
  • Regular international travel and flexibility in hours will be required for frequent periods of evening and weekend work.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of delivering internationally focused projects and effective marketing campaigns.
  • Commercially minded and aware of the financial responsibility that student recruitment brings.
  • Ability to use data analysis to inform strategic decision making.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to innovate.
  • Experience of working in a higher education institution or similar environment.
