Job Summary: Intellectual Disability Educator
Compensation Package: $70,000 - $90,000 per year

Messiah University is looking for a highly motivated and experienced educator to fill the role of Intellectual Disability Educator. This position will involve providing support to the Director of the Certificate Program for Students with Intellectual Disabilities, with a focus on curriculum development, academic advising, and staff training. The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Special Education or a related field and 2-3 years of experience working in educational settings directly with students with intellectual disabilities.

The responsibilities of this position include assisting in the planning and implementation of educational activities, providing guidance to students with intellectual disabilities, and collaborating with staff to ensure the effective delivery of programs. They will also be expected to maintain accurate records, conduct assessments, and develop partnerships with local organizations to enhance program resources and opportunities.
