Key Responsibilities:

Yard Duties:

  • Ensure vehicles are processed along the company pathway for deliveries, collections, marketing, and storage.
  • Clean vehicles as necessary to maintain high-quality images.
  • Inventory parts on vehicles and image them for sales channels.
  • Process logbooks, doc packs, and keys according to GDPR rules.
  • Support the GDPR & Salvage Personal Belonging Team with compliance and contractual SLAs.
  • Ensure quality control throughout the process, with no damage to vehicles or parts.
  • Liaise with customers and drivers for loading and offloading vehicles.
  • Maintain and take ownership of general housekeeping within the yard and customer-facing areas.

Imaging & Grading Duties:

  • Responsible for parts inventory, imaging, and grading of panels and parts for sales channels.
  • Prioritize vehicles with parts required by premium customers.
  • Ensure vehicles are brought to designated inventory/image areas by FLT.
  • Clean vehicles as necessary for high-quality images.
  • Inventory parts on vehicles and image them.
  • Grade parts and image using company guidelines.
  • Take videos of engines starting, running, and showing exhaust for infringements.
  • Remove parts for cleaning, tagging, imaging, and packing for dispatch and storage.
  • Support stock inventory processing based on decisions made on stock journeys.

Requirements:

  • Suitable candidates must have a full driving license.
  • Experience working outside in all weathers.
  • Ability to accurately record vehicle damage on our system.
  • Experience with forklifts is an advantage, but not essential (onsite training will be provided).
  • Able to work as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and attention to detail.
  • Basic IT skills.
