Job Title: Technical Product Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Technical Product Specialist to join our team at Fraser Hart. As a key member of our technical team, you will be responsible for delivering efficient technical processes and driving product quality across children's garments and accessories.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure adherence to the required sealing process from initial prototype to production sign-off.
  • Manage products through appropriate testing and care/safety labelling requirements.
  • Actively adopt a Quality Assurance approach to all areas of the role.
  • Develop an understanding of the technical capability of suppliers through product assessment and supplier/factory visits.
  • Support the Risk Assessment process to ensure product feasibility, safety, and legality.
  • Work with suppliers to understand cost-effective production methods to deliver required quality standards.
  • Drive product forward in terms of fit, construction, and technical performance to meet customer expectations.

Requirements:

  • Degree educated or equivalent in a recognised textile qualification.
  • Proven experience with childrenswear and/or accessories, as appropriate, with an appreciation of commercial requirements.
  • Demonstrate passion for the Brand and getting the right quality product in stores for customers.
