About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to the growth and success of our client's business. As a Land Acquisition Manager, you will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects, including land purchasing and negotiation, and will be responsible for managing a busy and varied workload of projects efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and secure sites for new poultry farms in Scotland
- Purchase and negotiate land agreements
- Manage a busy and varied workload of projects
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
- Provide expert advice on land acquisition and management
Requirements
- Proven experience in land purchasing and negotiation, ideally within the agricultural sector
- Extensive contacts within the Scottish rural sector
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of the land market in Scotland
- Strong organisational and management skills
- Ability to build strong relationships based on integrity, trust, and respected financial/budgetary judgement
