Job Title: Mobile Electrical Engineer

Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Salary: £34,000 to £38,000 per annum (Depending on qualifications and experience)

Paid travel time up to £6,000 per annum, bringing potential earnings to £40,000 - £44,000 per annum.

Opportunities for overtime and out-of-hours callouts to further enhance earning potential.

About the Role

We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will undertake electrical maintenance and installation work, ensuring compliance with National working rules for the Electrical Contracting Industry, IET wiring regulations, and Construction Industry safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform electrical maintenance across designated train stations.
  • Ensure all work meets high standards of safety and quality in accordance with industry regulations.
  • Provide both planned and reactive maintenance services within a commercial environment.
  • Participate in a call-out rota, with the opportunity to quote and carry out additional works for extra earnings.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Proven experience in building services provision, including planned and reactive maintenance within a commercial environment.
  • Competence in carrying out PPMs, routine electrical repairs, and maintenance in line with SFG20 or equivalent.
  • Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship (Preferred but not essential)
  • Personal Track Safety (PTS) Desirable
  • L8 Training Desirable
  • A valid UK Driving License is required as a company van is provided.

The successful candidate must also pass a medical and training course to obtain a PTS sentinel card if not already certified.

Working Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Participation in a call-out rota (1 in 5 weeks). Opportunities for overtime with additional approved works.
