Freelance Interpreter Required in Kent for Public and Private Sector Assignments

Language Empire provides professional interpreting and translation services to the public and private sectors across the UK. We are seeking a freelance interpreter to work in various settings such as the NHS, Local Authorities, Police, Probation, and other public and private organisations.

As an interpreter, you will listen to, understand, and memorize content in the source language, then reproduce the speech into the target language with 100% accuracy. You will interpret for people using legal, health, and local government services, and liaise between the service user and service provider.

The ideal candidate will be fluent in English and another language, have the right to work in the UK, and be aged 21 or over. Formal qualifications such as a Diploma in Public Service Interpreting (DPSI) or a Degree in Translation/Interpreting/Languages are advantageous.
