We are seeking a dedicated and patient-focused Pharmacist to join our team in Broadstairs, Kent. As a reputable and community-oriented pharmacy chain, we are committed to providing the highest standard of care to our patients.



Rowlands Pharmacy is a well-established pharmacy chain with a strong presence in the local community. Our Broadstairs branch is staffed with an experienced team, including a Non-Pharm Manager, who provide an excellent service to the local community.



This is a relatively quiet branch, dispensing around 6,500 items per month. We utilise our Medipac robotic distribution technology, which frees up your time to provide the care our patients deserve.



As a Pharmacist at Rowlands Pharmacy, you will be responsible for dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring compliance with all legal and ethical guidelines.



You will also provide medication counselling and support to patients, answering their questions and addressing concerns. Additionally, you will collaborate with healthcare professionals, including doctors and nurses, to optimize patient care.



Other key responsibilities include conducting medication reviews, ensuring safe and effective medication management, maintaining accurate patient records, and managing pharmacy inventory.



You will also have the opportunity to provide immunization services (where applicable) and offer advice on over-the-counter medications and healthcare products.

What We Require



  • Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC)

  • Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting

  • Strong commitment to patient care and safety

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently

  • Up-to-date knowledge of pharmaceutical products and healthcare trends

  • A flexible and positive approach to problem-solving
