Paediatric Nurse Job Summary

We are currently seeking a skilled Paediatric Nurse to join our dedicated team on Bluebell and Sunflower wards at Bristol Royal Hospital for Children. As a key member of our neurosciences team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care to children and young people aged 0-16 who require neurosurgical, spinal surgery, specialist epilepsy surgery, neurology, and neuro-oncology treatments.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and implement individualised care plans to meet the unique needs of each patient
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement effective treatment plans
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation to ensure seamless continuity of care
Requirements
  • Demonstrate competence in clinical skills relevant to the clinical area
  • Ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Broad knowledge and experience of clinical nursing practice within a hospital environment
