Job Role: Teaching Assistant (Primary School)

Location: Dorset, Bournemouth

Days/Hours of Work: Monday – Friday (8:30am-3:30pm)

Pay: £350-£550 Per Week (Depending on experience, age, and qualifications)

About the position:

  • Support the development of children's learning by working with groups and on a 1:1 basis.
  • Ensure the children's safety in and outside of the classroom.
  • Observe and provide feedback to the class teacher.
  • Work alongside the class teacher, following instructions and guidelines.
  • Supervise during lunchtime and break time to ensure all children are safe.

Key Requirements:

  • Experience working within schools and children.
  • Transferable skills such as caring, helpful, flexible, able to work well within a team, initiative, adaptable, and being able to remain calm under pressure.
  • Experience working with children who have learning and behavioural difficulties.
  • Enhanced DBS on the updated service (Teaching Personnel can assist with the application process).
