Virtual Production Supervisor

We are seeking a seasoned Virtual Production Supervisor to oversee and manage virtual production projects on-set. This key role will serve as the central point of contact between the production crew, ensuring seamless communication and coordination to prevent roadblocks and ensure productions run smoothly.

  • Coordinate with the production team to guarantee that all necessary elements are in place for a successful production, including cameras, motion capture systems, and Unreal Engine.
  • Collaborate with the director, DP, and production crew to ensure the integration of CG elements, such as environments and effects, is flawless and consistent with the overall visual style.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot technical issues, including connectivity problems, software glitches, and compatibility issues between different components of the Virtual Production setup.
  • Provide expert training and support to the production team on best practices for virtual production tools and workflows.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience as an on-set supervisor with a proven track record of success.
  • Familiarity with setting up LED walls and supervising VP projects.
  • Strong knowledge of real-time tools and technologies.
  • Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to expertly coordinate on-set operations.
  • Quick and effective problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication with production and technical teams.
  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure seamless integration of virtual and live elements.
  • Open to domestic and international travel on a project-by-project basis.
